Chewing food becomes difficult when a wisdom tooth erupts. Try having more of liquids and soft food that can be easily chewed without adding to toothache.

Applying clove oil or powdered cloves on the affected region can help in reducing the toothache. Similarly, you can make a paste of paste of bay berry bark and little vinegar. This helps in relieving toothaches of all kinds, including that caused by wisdom tooth.

Gargling mouth with warm salt water and using a mouth wash are extremely helpful. This natural remedy also helps in warding off the foul breath that accompanies the emergence of a wisdom tooth.

In addition, using mouthwash helps in getting rid of food particles that might get stuck between the teeth and possibly lead to infections and tooth decay later on. You can use the juice of wheatgrass as a natural mouth wash to naturally alleviate your toothache.

If your wisdom tooth is giving you immense pain, inflammation and swelling which is not easing despite natural cure, then you must consult a dentist.

In case of some complication, your dentist might advise you to get your wisdom tooth removed. However, weight your options well as getting a wisdom tooth removed brings with it its own set of complications like infections and even sinus complications.
