When it comes to skin problems and especially those that become beauty blots, the most frequently heard of problems are those of acne, pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. Whiteheads are usually the beginning stages of acne and pimples and thus they should be treated on time to prevent the eruption of much uglier, prominent and even painful acnes.

You must have heard about the plethora of creams and lotions available in markets for the treatment of whiteheads and various other skin problems. However, there are some natural and effective methods by which you can cure the problem of whiteheads at home itself.

If you have whiteheads on your skin, take help of rose water and sandalwood. A paste of sandalwood mixed with rose water should be applied on the skin to effectively get rid of whiteheads. Applying a paste of fresh fenugreek leaves in water over the face helps in clearing of your face from unwanted whiteheads. This paste should be applied at night and then cleared off in the morning with the help of warm water. Similarly, powdered and roasted pomegranate mixed with fresh lime juice can be applied over whiteheads to get rid of them.

Did you know that your favorite potatoes which you eat in a variety of forms can be used as a natural remedy for treating whiteheads? Yes, you heard it right. You can apply grated potatoes as poultice on the affected areas. This not only naturally frees your skin form whiteheads, but also helps in treating and preventing skin blemishes and pimples.

In addition to the given remedies, you should drink plenty of water, keep your skin hydrated, and consume plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to a have a healthy skin devoid of any blemishes like whiteheads, blackheads, pimples and acne.
