Home Remedies for Nausea

Nausea is a reaction by the body in response to some other ailment like stomach disorder and it is often characterized by dizziness, sweating and a vomiting sensation leading to a lot of discomfort in the body. Nausea can be caused by a variety of factors ranging from digestive disorders, morning sickness, stress, food intolerance and also due to a reaction by some medicine or drug. By following certain natural and home made remedies, one can get rid of the discomfort which is caused by the problem of nausea.

To effectively get rid relief of nausea, one should take 2 capsules of gingerroot. One can also add fresh piece of ginger to one’s tea and have it to get relief from this problem. Nausea can be treated at home through herbal tea which can be those of peppermint or chamomile to get rid of the nauseating feeling. Similarly, ginger ale can help in soothing the stomach which in turn can provide relief and even prevent the problem of nausea. One should also try consuming ½ tsp grounded cumin seed to find relief from nausea and vomiting.

Having the problem of nausea or morning sickness is quite common in pregnant ladies. To avoid this problem, one should mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with 1 tbsp of honey and mix it in cold water and consume it before going to bed. This in turn will help in reducing morning sickness associated with pregnancy. In addition, having few teaspoons of wheat germ mixed with milk every hour can help to ward off the problem of morning sickness.

It has been found that consuming fiber rich diet such as banana, rice and apple can prevent the problem of nausea. Similarly, avoiding oily, junk and spicy food items can play a pivotal role in keeping one’s stomach in order which in turn can prevent and even cure the problem of nausea.
