Home Remedies for Migraine
Are your tired of your throbbing and splitting headaches which often put your healthy life to a sudden standstill? It has been found that people suffering from migraine can be greatly benefited by some breathing exercises that help in enhancing the oxygen supply to the body. Proper breathing exercises relax a person and increase the flow of oxygen to the brain, helping in getting rid of severe migraine headaches.
Additionally, yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises are helpful in de-stressing and calming a person, which in turn plays a major role in easing out stress and tension related migraines.
Along with exercises, here are some other home remedies helpful during migraine attacks. Almonds have proved quire effective in the natural treatment of migraines and thus eating few almonds can help. Similarly, few fresh fruit and vegetable juices can help. These include carrot juice which can be combined with spinach or beet juices. You can also take juice of ripe grapes. Consuming raw garlic can also help.
Since, migraine leads to severe throbbing headaches, massaging your head can provide relief. Using certain Ayurvedic oils for massaging of head is effective. Application of freshly grounded sandalwood paste can help. Additionally, it has been found that aromatherapy can also aid in treating the problem of migraine.
If you have frequent problem of migraine, try to identify the triggers and avoid them. Avoid intake of spicy and oily food and also avoid direct contact with sunlight. Thus, follow these basic remedies to naturally prevent and treat the problem of migraine.
