Home Remedies For Intestinal Worms

September 5, 2008

If you are suffering from symptoms like diarrhea, foul breath, dark circles, anemia and headaches; then there are chances of your suffering from the problem of intestinal worms. While threadworms can lead to itching around the rectal area, round-worms can lead to the inflammation of the intestines thereby leading to problems like nausea, vomiting, weight loss and nervousness. Faulty living which includes eating contaminated food or walking bare foot on infected earth can lead to the entry of worms in one’s body thereby leading to various health hazards. Given below are some natural home made remedies which can help a person to safely and effectively get rid of the problem of intestinal worms.

The most effective home remedy for this problem is by the use of coconut. Taking a tablespoon of freshly ground coconut at breakfast can prove very effective in getting rid of all kinds of intestinal worms. Garlic, considered as a natural healer, can be used for expelling worms from one’s body. Chewing three cloves of raw garlic daily or placing fresh garlic under each foot is an effective home remedy for the treatment of worms. Small children generally suffer from threadworms and the latter can be eliminated through the drinking of grated carrot juice every morning. Similarly, the seeds of ripe pumpkin can be used for the treatment of tapeworms. Consume lots of water as that would enhance the bowel movement thereby aiding in the removal of these worms from the body. In addition, add a number of probiotics in your diet to prevent the spread of parasites. Consuming pumpkin seeds, pomegranates, beets, and carrots can be useful as they all contain anti-worm qualities. Last but not the least, the basic healthy habit of eating a well balanced diet and staying away from fatty foods is necessary to minimize the symptoms of intestinal worm infection.
