Home Remedies for Hemorrhoids
Hemorrhoids is a medical condition when the veins inside and outside the rectum get inflamed. Hemorrhoids are painful and they can hurt, itch, irritate and also bleed. Hemorrhoids are usually caused as a result of constipation, overeating of low fiber diet, chronic diarrhea and pregnancy amongst others. Given below are some home remedies which can naturally help you to treat the problem of hemorrhoids.
To begin with the simplest and the most effective home remedy- include high fiber food items in your daily diet. As discussed before, low fiber diet is a major cause for hemorrhoids and thus a change in diet and lifestyle can be of significant help. Drink lots of water and keep yourself hydrated. Also, you should avoid spicy and oily foods which slow down the digestive process. Including fruits like papaya in your diet can be helpful. Similarly, green vegetables intake helps in providing the roughage that facilitates faster movement of bowels. Along with proper diet including fiber and water, you also need to take regular exercises to keep your digestive system working efficiently.
Along with a proper diet and healthy lifestyle, there are also certain specific home remedies which can help in the fast treatment of hemorrhoids. Sesame seeds are particularly helpful. You should take a strained mixture of 15-20 sesame seeds and water. Taking this mixture 2-3 times a day at least for a month helps in natural cure of hemorrhoids. Similarly, you can take onion juice or raw soaked in water containing sugar or other sweetener. Radish is another useful home remedy for hemorrhoids which helps in providing relief from the swelling and pain around the anus. Having radish juice 2 to 3 times a day can be useful. Thus, follow the given home remedies and get natural relief from the problem of hemorrhoids.
