Home Remedies for Dysentery
Dysentery is a problem of the intestines which is characterized by frequent passage of stools combined with blood and mucus too. It leads to the inflammation of the intestines and can lead to abdominal cramps, fever, nausea and vomiting. Given are some natural ways by which you can deal with the problem of dysentery at home itself.
Since the problem of dysentery involves loss of water from the body, one needs to keep oneself properly hydrated to prevent other problems associated with dehydration. Dehydration can prove serious too. Thus, increase your intake of water and consumption of fluids at regular interval. Ginger is available at every household and it can be used as an effective home remedy for the treatment of dysentery. All you need to do is to drink a glass of warm water which has added little juice of ginger extract and one teaspoon of castor oil. Similarly, you can extract the juice of fenugreek leaves, mix it with blackcurrant juice and drink the mixture for natural treatment of dysentery.
Fruits like pomegranates and apples are useful for the treatment of dysentery. Wood apple is particularly useful and you can consume its soft pulp. Similarly, you can take about 60 grams of pomegranate rind and boil it in milk and then consume it. Also, you can use oranges for naturally treating dysentery. Take a glass of water and add dried peels of oranges which have been ground with few raisin seeds. Drink this mixture for 4 days to find natural relief from dysentery.
Along with the above mentioned natural ways, there are also other simple home remedies which can help you get relief from dysentery. These include changing your diet to a simple one which does not include fried, spicy and oily food. Thus, try the given remedies and free yourself from the problem of dysentery.
