To effectively deal with dengue fever, you should recognize its symptoms in time so that you can get a timely treatment. Dengue leads to high fever which is accompanied by severe headache and pain near the eyes. In addition, dengue leads to rashes, joint pain, fatigue, and can also lead to nausea and vomiting.

After having looked at the various symptoms of dengue, let’s look at some simple home remedies that can provide natural relief from the pain and discomfort caused by dengue fever.

Since dengue can lead to high fever, you need to keep your temperature under control. Application of cold packs is beneficial when the temperature is high. Similarly, you can also take fever reducing medicines after consulting your doctor.

Water intake is extremely necessary for people suffering from dengue. You need to keep your body hydrated and for that you have to increase your intake of fluids. Along with increasing your water intake, you can also resort to intake of fruit and vegetable juices and soups.

Orange juice is good for people suffering from dengue as it helps in strengthening the immune system, thereby promoting faster recovery. Herbal teas like those of ginger can provide natural relief to people suffering from dengue.

Similarly, papaya too is beneficial and one should consume papaya leaves’ extract to combat the problem of dengue.
Along with the above given remedies, one should take complete rest to overcome the problem of dengue.
