Home Remedies for Bronchitis
Caused due to the inflammation of the mucous membrane lining of the bronchial tubes inside the lungs, Bronchitis is a disease which is characterized by fever, cough, hoarseness chest ache and difficulty in breathing. There are various factors which can lead to the development or aggravation of this problem like environmental factors, genetic constitution, smoking, and use of drugs or because of working in stuffy environment. By taking some natural cure and home made remedies, one can effectively deal with the problem of Bronchitis.
Turmeric and ginger are two natural elements which play an important role in the natural treatment of bronchitis. Mixing half a teaspoon of turmeric powder with half a glass of milk and drinking this herbal mixture at least two to three times a day can be helpful in the natural and effective treatment of bronchitis. Similarly, one can make an effective mixture by mixing half a teaspoon each of ginger powder, pepper and cloves. Along with helping in reducing the symptoms associated with this problem, this herbal mixture also aids in the gradual prevention as well as elimination of this disease. In addition, a teaspoon of honey and ginger juice dissolved in 150ml of hot water can be effective in alleviating the symptoms of cough and breathlessness associated with bronchitis.
Onions have been effectively used as a natural remedy for the treatment of bronchitis and it is widely agreed that eating one teaspoon of raw onion juice in the morning can help in the dissolving of phlegm thereby helping in alleviating the symptoms of bronchitis. Similarly, almonds, sesame seeds, spinach and linseeds are other natural elements which can be used effectively for the treatment of bronchitis. In addition, it has been found that orange juice and water can be effective in cases of acute bronchitis. Moreover, people with acute or chronic bronchitis, should adopt an all-fruit diet for at least 3 days to effectively get rid of this problem.
