The first step to treat a bee sting is to remove the sting by scraping it out using a blunt knife or tweezers. After you remove the sting, apply ice on the affected area. This will help in reducing swelling and inflammation. Applying toothpaste to the stung area can also help.
Rubbing fresh papaya on the bee sting wound is helpful for naturally treating a bee sting. You can also apply a thick layer of mud on the affected area. Bee stings can also be naturally treated with the help of castor or lavender essential oil.
All you need to do is locally apply few drops of these oils to naturally alleviate the pain or swelling associated with a bee sting. Applying honey on the affected area can also help.
According to research, a homemade paste of baking soda and vinegar can help in neutralizing the venom of the bee sting. Similarly, you can also make a paste of baking soda by mixing it with water and apply that paste on the affected area of the skin to get relief from pain and discomfort caused by a bee sting.
If you find your skin getting swollen up after a bee sting, then apply few drops of apple cider vinegar to naturally reduce the swelling.
