Home Remedies for Backache
Backaches can be really painful and can lead to hampering of one’s mobility thereby bringing one’s life to a standstill. However, this is also one of the most common problems faced by people due to strain, fatigue and improper posture. Backaches can also be caused by an injury to the spine or due to liver congestion, gallstones, unstable nervous system, wearing high heeled shoes and various other reasons. In most cases of backache, pain is felt in the middle of the back to the lower regions which can be even spread to the sides of the waist and hips. By following certain natural methods, one can get relief from the pain caused by backache which can even make a person bedridden.
The most common and effective home remedy for the treatment of backache is by the use of garlic. Eating two to three cloves of garlic every morning or massaging the back with oil prepared from garlic can help in alleviating the problem of backache. One can also massage the back with eucalyptus oil or mustard oil. Similarly, to ease the pain, one can apply a heating pad or hot water bottle on the back area to provide comfort. Moreover, one should avoid smoking or intake of tobacco as they can trigger off and even increase pain associated with back.
Limejuice serves as an excellent home remedy for backache. To get the desired effect, one should take lemon juice mixed with common salt at least twice a day. A mixture of powdered sonth, sweet soda and salt if consumed with hot milk or water can help in alleviating back related problems. Similarly, one can make an effective mixture by mixing half a gram of cinnamon powder to one teaspoon honey and eat this mixture at least twice a day. By following some natural and home made remedies, one can bid farewell to the life disrupting problem of backache.
