Healthy treat for your kids
Don’t your children love food that looks interesting and tastes great too? Here are some interesting recipes, which are nutritious as well as filling for your loved ones. Just prepare these recipes for the apple of your eyes!
Honey apple salad
Ingredients:
1 apple, 1 orange, 1 banana, a cup full of bite-sized pineapple pieces, 3 tbsp honey, few walnuts, lemon juice, salt and pepper
The dressing:
Mix honey, lemon juice and pepper. Set aside.
The salad:
Chop all the fruits in a bowl and add the dressing to it. Now add walnuts. Sprinkle salt to taste. Dig in!
Cheesy pearl cutlets
Ingredients:
1 cup sabudana (soaked in cold water for 20 minutes and then drained), 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes, 1 tsp jeera, 1 tsp chopped chilies, 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 1 tsp red chili powder, oil to fry, 2 tbsp grated cheese, salt to taste
For sauce:
Ingredients:
½ cup tomato ketchup, 1 tbsp red chili sauce, 1 tsp imli chutney
Method:
To the soaked sabudana add the mashed potatoes, chilies, coriander and jeera, cheese with some salt and mix well.
Shape them into small cutlets and deep fry until golden brown. Remove and serve on a platter with some pickles and the sauce, which is prepared by just mixing all the sauces together.
Three dip cheese
Ingredients:
To grind together:
¼ cup semi-thick curds (cream cheese), ¼ cup cheese, ¼ cup paneer, 2 tbsp salad oil
Other ingredients:
1 tbsp vinegar, ¼ tsp garlic paste, ½ tsp pepper, ½ tsp mixed herbs, alt to taste
Method:
Grind together all the ingredients and serve with wafers.
