Healthy nutritious recipes for your kids
Sprouted chana with palak
Ingredients:
250 gm chana, 500 gm spinach, paste of 2 onions, 2 tomatoes, 2 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp garam masala powder, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp roasted jeera, 3-4 green cardamom, paste of 3-4 cloves
Method:
Wash the palak and boil it in a boiler. Afterwards, make a nice paste of palak in blender.
Heat oil in a cooker and fry garlic, ginger paste, sauté onions. Add grated tomatoes. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilies, garam masala, roasted jeera, cardamom and cloves.
Add sprouted chana in it and stir fry.
Add palak paste in the cooker and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Serve hot.
Chutney paneer
Ingredients:
500 gm red tomatoes, 250 gm paneer, 4-5 tsp desi ghee, 2-3 chopped green chilies, chopped ginger, a bowl of mnt chutney, 1 tsp salt
For garnishing:
Mint and coriander leaves
Method:
Dice the paneer in square pieces.
Place these paneer pieces in mint chutney for 5-6 minutes and then place on oiled baking tray. Bake till their color changes.
Heat oil in pan. Add chopped tomatoes to it. Sauté ginger and salt in it.
Lastly add the baked paneer pieces and serve hot after garnishing with chopped coriander and mint leaves.
Stuffed tinde with milk
Ingredients:
500 gm medium sized tinde, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 ½ tsp red chilly powder, 2 tsp salt, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 2 green chilies, 2 onions, 1 cup fresh milk, little grated coconut, jeera, curry leaf
Method:
Wash and peel off the tinde in a nice manner. Hollow them from the center with the help of knife.
Chop onion and green chilies.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions, jeera green chilies and all the seasoning in it.
Use the above mixture as filling for tinde.
Heat the oil again in a pan and cook the filled tinde in it with rest of ingredients.
When tinde starts to get soft, add milk to it. Bring to a boil.
Ad grated coconut.
Serve hot.
