For example, a healthy breakfast can consist of orange juice, eggs, toast, butter and milk. While the orange juice helps in contributing ascorbic acid, eggs and milk are the chief sources of protein. Moreover, you also attain calcium and riboflavin from milk and iron from eggs and bread. When we plan a meal, it becomes necessary to look into the fact that food items from all the groups of food pyramid are included in our diet. While one may only think about including calcium rich diet to strengthen one’s bones, one can’t neglect the importance of proteins, minerals and other nutrients. Thus, variety and intelligent selection plays an important role in healthy meal planning. Similarly, one also needs to plan a meal according to weather conditions.
