Healthy Brownie Cookies
If the sight or even the thought of cookies brings water in your mouth, then how can a person resist it despite being aware of the amount of calories involved in it. Well, if you are facing a dilemma of having to choose between taste and health, you should always choose health as health is wealth. But now it is not necessary that you have to sacrifice your taste as health and taste can be combined in the form of healthy brownie cookies. Sounds great? To prepare a healthy brownie cookie at home, first preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and coat two baking sheets with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine 21 ounces low-fat brownie mix with 2 cups of unprocessed bran. Add ¾ cup orange juice and ½ tsp coconut extract and stir to combine. Drop the dough by rounded teaspoons onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 12 minutes. Remove to a rack and allow it to cool. Your brownie, healthy brownie is ready for consumption.
Similarly, you can convert your cakes into healthy cakes by making a few healthy adjustments to what we consider a normal recipe. The first thing required is to replace your white flour with healthy 100% whole wheat flour. Don’t use low quality whole wheat flour. You can also use 100% whole wheat pastry flour for a perfect texture of the cake. These small adjustments would ensure that you don’t have to sacrifice your taste or health as both can be attained through some intelligent cooking.
