Do you know that apart from adding flavor to daal tadka or bhindi fry, spices has much more potential in them. They are loaded with tons of health benefits. They have medicinal properties in them that tremendously helps in curing infection, healing bruises, cuts etc. they also helps in enhancing the immunity of your body systems. Some of the spices with their health benefits are written below- just have a look!

Cinnamon:
Do you know that cinnamon has a health-boosting compound in it known as eugenol that has property of reliving pain? A good dose of cinnamon in your diet provides you with calcium and fiber content to your body. Cinnamon is a common ingredient in various tot pastes, mouthwashes ad chewing gums. It strengthens and cleanses your teeth with its anti-bacterial qualities. Daily dose of cinnamon helps in improving the blood circulation of body. Plus it improves your memory and thinking ability. Cinnamon also has blood –thinning properties too. So don’t think much, do eat cinnamon in your diet.

Pepper:
Pepper being the mainstay in most soups and various main course dishes around the world. It is the most tasteful spice available in your kitchen. Almost all the ayurvedic medicines contain certain amount of pepper in them because they are rich in antioxidants and anti-bacterial properties. It improves digestion, wipes out worms, treats heart problems, sinusitis, piles, anemia, diabetes etc. also it cures coughs, colds, and colic too. It also has an anti-fever property, which is why elder people prescribe a peppery soup on a feverish night. Not only this, chewing black pepper reduces the throat inflammation. Pepper oil cures scalp infection in hair plus treats insect bites. So, next time, whenever you prepare a meal for yourself or for your family members, don’t forget to add pepper in it.
