Have a look on outdoor-fat busters

November 11, 2008

Do you know that people who exercise outside in a cooler environment burns up 12 percent more calories than those who exercise indoors. This is because people exercising outside have to work more to keep themselves warm. Workout in natural surroundings lifts up your mood and increases the overall benefit of your total workout. Here is the list of some outside-fat busters-just go through them!

Tennis:
Tennis works on all the major muscle groups in your body-including arms, legs, stomach and back. It helps you to burn 390 calories in an hour itself and even more if you keep missing your ball. So believe me if you are new to this sporting activity, you will burn more amount of fat.

Cycling:
Cycling also works on all the major muscles of your legs. As you work on your abdominal muscles trying to sit up straight and on balancing over your cycle’s seat cycling helps in keeping your stomach flat, free from bulges. A person of any age group can include cycling in his or her workout session. Remember cycling is great workout for your heart.

Jogging:
Do you know that jogging is a brilliant fat burner? You don’t need any fancy equipment to start you off, just a nice pair of trainers will do. Jogging targets the bottom part of your body i.e. hips and thighs. An average woman can manage to burn off a whopping 260 calories in just 20 minutes through her jogging session. It is much more effective than your basic sit-ups plus tremendously helps in reducing your overall body fat. But if you are new to this activity then mind it that jogging can be tough on your joints especially on your ankle and knee part. So put a halt on this activity if you experience pain.
