Hand Care

July 11, 2008

A welcoming handshake or a partying bye- everything involves the use of your hand in establishing a relationship with the other. Hands are very expressive and informative as they tell the onlooker about the various aspects of a woman ranging from beauty and hygiene to one’s age. Moreover, hands are a vital component of one’s body as they are involved in almost all the daily activities of one’s life like cooking, writing, feeling or working. Thus, it is essential to take extra care and protection of one’s hands to keep them soft, smooth and healthy.

To keep one’s hand young, soft and beautiful, one should avoid overexposure with sun as the ultraviolet rays of the sun lead to a damage of one’s skin. Thus, one should apply sunscreen lotion on one’s face as well as on one’s hand to prevent skin damage. One should try to prevent the dryness of one’s hands as it can lead to an early formation of wrinkles. Hence, one should moisturize one’s hands at least 4 times a day to keep them soft and silky. In addition, if your skin is sensitive, you should extra care to prevent it from the ravages of changing weather conditions.

The performing of daily household chores can weigh heavily on the health and beauty of your hands. Thus, one should wear gloves while working at home or at the garden. This would help protect your hands from dust, pollution and chemical reactions. Moreover, one should try to regularly dry pat your hands to prevent them from fungal infections.

Special treatments like herbal therapies and warm oil bath can help maintain the softness of your hands. A massage of the hands with a mixture of glycerin, lemon juice and rose water can help in maintaining the proper health of your hands. A daily care of your hands can help them remain soft and supple forever.
