Growing older

December 18, 2008

It is fair to say that as we get older we become more cautious and risk averse. We all make plans for the future whether we are young or old!  Isn’t it? But the fact is that sometimes we have to wait too long before actually doing them. Setting goals for the future is important, but so too is avoiding the temptation to put things off. Here are some things you might not have tried yet but wish that you could have- so read them out and bring them to the reality before it becomes too late for you to do them!

Family feuds can run long and deep. ideally they need to be resolved before it’s to late for everyone. So be brave and don’t feel shy or hesitant to make a first move. Even if you have some issues pending with your friends, then don’t turn blind eye to them. Kiss and make up!

Why not have an exotic holiday now that you have been putting off due to lack of time and money. You have both money as well as plenty of time for yourself. Give yourself a good treat by rejuvenating yourself from the shackles of tiring busy life.

If you have been always been afraid of something, get help and confront it head on. Overcome your phobia. Remember its high time now!

If you had always been avoiding those expensive restaurants, then make sure you visit them at least once now. Dress up and make it an occasion. Just take it lighter and don’t worry much about your bill.

Many of us go through life blaming our parents for our shortcomings, so forgive them. Though this may seems really deep and tough for you, but believe doing this will make you feel lighter and more loving towards your parents.
