August 6, 2008

No doubt, the present lifestyle has taken a toll on our bodies. Various lifestyles related disorders have made a significant mark on our health. For nullifying the effects of such disorders on our health, meditation plays an important role. Now-a-days, irrespective of age group, people have made a meditation as part of their routine. But if you are beginner, then here’s how you start your meditation for achieving the most results.

First of all, make the list of all those reasons, for which you wish to mediate as well as the benefits of the same. This will keep you highly motivated. Now post this list page on your refrigerator for a constant reminder.

Secondly, now choose the time for meditation as per your choice and suitability. Make sure that you remain undisturbed at this particular time from both internal and outside forces. If you have a very busy schedule, then you can even slip five to ten minutes of mediation into your daily hectic life by sitting up in bed before getting up or before your bedtime.

It is very important that you also pay due important to the place or venue of meditating. Make sure it is warm, quiet, noise free and calming so that a perfect atmosphere like this keeps you on high motivational level and on peaceful grounds too for meditation. You can sit or lie in the most comfortable position you want, and then play a light music. If you like scented candles, you can light them too.

You can even join a group meditation if you find it hard to motivate yourself for the same. This is because many people claims that they experience deeper meditation and find a new drive to practice meditation when work in a group.
