September 9, 2008

Did you had a party with your best friends two hours ago where you overstuffed your stomach with lots of fried meals, chicken and non-nutritious food or your mom prepares your favorite meal on a holiday and you relish it out without giving a single thought to the quantity that you intake? Well in both the cases, there is no need to panic any more because here are some easy steps to settle down your stomach after overeating, just go through them!

To get relief from overeating try out a cup of herbal tea. Peppermint tea can work effectively on stomach aches. Chamomile tea will help in calming you in every possible way plus settling your stomach at the same time.

For getting relief, you can place something warm over your tummy for .e.g. a heating pad or hot water bottle or a hot compress. Trust me you will start feeling better within twenty minutes only. This is the easiest and fastest way to get relief from your stuffed stomach after overeating.

You can even lie done on your bed for sometime and rest for few minutes till your stomach becomes light, and then you can go back and start up doing your household chores again.

Even taking short and relaxing walks can benefit you in case of overeating in leaps and bounds. Walks aids in your digestion process plus reduces the feeling of fullness little by little from your stomach.

If there is any kind of pain in your stomach because of overeating then you can treat it using antacids or medicines too.
