Warm Sitz Baths : To keep the hemorrhoid area clean, it is very important to soak yourself in a tub of water at least two or three times a day. It would stop the irritation.

Apply an ice pack : It will reduce the discomfort and the swelling because of the hemorrhoids. This can be applied in a 15 minute increment. It depends on the intensity of the problem.

Witch Hazel – Soak cotton in witch hazel and later apply them on the external hemorrhoids. This will cool the heat and also provide a smoothening effect.

Have a clean wipe : After each and every bowel movement it is very important to clean the area thoroughly. This will certainly help in hemorrhoids. You can use a moist cloth or a tissue. It would certainly reduce the irritation also.

These steps will have to be taken by every pregnant woman who is suffering from the irritation of hemorrhoids. It will certainly reduce the irritation and provide a safe life for the women. However for some of them it would be a continuous process and hence these people have to take extra care.
