October 21, 2008

If you can’t have gluten, then it does not imply you have to abstain yourself from yummy and delicious chocolate cakes. Chocolate is a favorite of many and there’s nothing better than a well made chocolate cake. But people with gluten allergy or those who cant eat flour, need not be depressed. There are ways by which you can prepare an equally tasty flourless chocolate cake to experience the delight of chocolate as well as cake. How? Read below and find out the perfect recipe for the perfect cake.

To prepare a flourless chocolate cake at home, you first need to preheat your oven to 300 degrees F. Side by side, grease one 10 inch round cake pan and set aside. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, salt and sugar. Stir until completely dissolved. Then, melt the bittersweet chocolate in a microwave. Cut 1 cup butter into pieces and beat the butter into the chocolate. Slowly beat in 6 eggs, one at a time. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Have a pan larger than the cake pan ready, put the cake pan in the larger pan and fill the pan with boiling water halfway up the sides of the cake pan. You then need to bake cake at 300 degrees F for 45 minutes. Chill cake overnight in the pan. Your cake is ready to eat. It is your wish whether you want to serve the cake hot or cold. You can also serve it with whipped cream. However, you should remember that cakes of this kind would generally collapse and look like a pie since no flour is used.

Flourless chocolate cakes are great for people with gluten intolerance. However, everyone can cherish the delicious and yummy taste of such cakes. So go ahead and fulfill the desires of your taste buds.
