September 24, 2008

You all must be aware of various exercises for the heart, muscles, biceps, triceps and what not. But if you want to look beautiful with prolonged beauty and youth, then you need to indulge in certain facial exercises which are necessary for the firming up of facial region so as to prevent it from wrinkle formation. Facial exercises are not only for anti-aging purposes, but they also help a great deal for preventing double chins, along with enhancing your facial features. Read below to find out certain simple facial exercises along with their various benefits.

Many people who are obese or who have loose skin due to age factor or environmental ones, suffer from the problem of double chins. To help tone and lift the chin area so as to regain back your youthful beauty, you need to follow some basic facial exercises. These include sitting upright, tilting your head back by looking at the ceiling, keeping your lips closed and then finally starting a chewing movement. This helps in working the muscles of the chin and neck area thereby helping in firming up your chin region.

Just like the facial exercise for firming up chin region, you can also perform certain exercises for the beautification and toning of your cheeks. This involves first having a relaxed smile with your lips closed; followed by sucking in of cheeks towards and on to your teeth. Hold this position for 10 counts, relax and repeat it to gain maximum benefit. Similarly, you can sit upright facing forward with lips closed but relaxed. Pucker and pout your lips using muscles in your cheek. Keep it puckered for a count of 10, release, relax and then repeat it again for at least 5 times.

Along with chin and cheek exercises, facial exercises also include those of eyes and forehead so as to firm up the entire facial region to prevent it from premature wrinkling, sagging or loosening.
