Exotic Recipes For Valentines Day
Valentines day is coming up in few weeks. Do you want to sizzle up the things for your partner on this day in all together a new way-then cook some special meals for your partner. Here are some great and sumptuous dishes for you that will bring your mood to swing in very less time- so just try these recipes in your kitchen cabinet for your partner.
Seafood Alaska
Ingredients:
10 gm mirepoix (roughly chopped onion, garlic, celery, leeks, carrots, bay leaf and peppercorns), 100 gm prawn shells, 50 gm tomatoes, 50 gm tomato puree, 500 ml fish stock, 1 whole shrimp, 10 gm butter, 10 gm flour, 100 gm roux (ix together equal amounts of flour and butter to form a paste and then coking until it turns slightly brown), 10 ml cream
Method:
Melt the butter. Add the miropoix and sauté well. Add the shells and sauté till light golden brown in color. Mix in tomato puree, and quartered tomatoes. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add fish sock and cook for about an hour on a medium flame. Strain and put it back on the flame. Add roux to the strained stock and cook for another five minutes. Finish by adding cream and garnish with a whole shrimp.
Berry duet
Ingredients:
50 gm strawberries, 50 gm white chocolates, 50 gm dark chocolate
Method:
Melt both chocolates separately in different bowls, on double boilers. Dip each strawberry halfway in dark chocolate and place in the refrigerator. When the chocolate sets, dip the other half in white chocolate and cool again. Remove from fridge just before serving.
The chocolate used will act as a stimulant, which may increase the desire for physical contact. Strawberries are refreshing and makes lips moist. The strawberry juice mixed with chocolates makes a perfect combination, so try out!
