Exercises for Thigh Reduction

December 9, 2008

There is no denying the fact that lean, toned thighs look great and are a mark of fit and healthy body. You wouldn’t be able to wear dresses if you have shabby and flabby thighs. How to reduce fat from thighs is one question which every girl ponders upon. After all, who doesn’t want a perfect body. There are various exercises which can help you attain your desired lean and toned thighs. One needs to choose the exercise which suits you best and is comfortable too.

It is said that the best way to reduce thigh fat is by reducing overall fat on the whole. However, there are also some exercises which are targeted specifically for the thigh region. Running, even on treadmills, can help a great deal in warding off extra fat from the thigh region. Moreover, running is good for the overall health of a person. Squats done in moderation can also help in reducing your thigh region. Moreover, they also aid in the firming and toning up of the region. Leg lifts are another kind of exercise which aids in fat reduction from the thigh region. Lie down flat on the floor; lift up your legs in a perpendicular direction. You can use your arms to provide some support to your lifted legs. Hold this position for some 10 minutes and slowly bring back the leg to the original position. Wall slide is another exercise which can be used for muscle toning and weight loss. To perform a wall slide, begin by standing with your back flat against a wall. You then need to walk your legs outward so that you are bent at both the waist and knees. To tone muscles and to reduce thigh fat, you should hold your body more upright so that you are closer to a standing position than to a sitting one.

Follow the given exercises to have well formed, lean and toned thighs.
