Exercise Balls
With people becoming more fitness conscious, every now or then there is a new fitness theory revolving around the world. One such theory is that of the use of exercise balls for perfect exercise regime. This theory is beneficial as exercise balls are beneficial for all kinds of exercise programs including aerobics, stretching, flexibility, toning, strength rehabilitation and sports training. Exercise balls have slowly gained popularity as according to fitness therapists, this is one of the most effective ways of strengthening abs and back and increasing stability.
Use of exercise balls can ensure proper spine alignment. This is because an exercise ball is not stable and your body needs to balance itself. Your body tries to align in perfect posture for balance which in turn helps in improving spinal health. Exercise balls can be used for the purpose of weight training. It is also effective in abdominal training as doing crunches, twists and any other exercise on the ball adds difficulty to the exercise and in turn involves the workout of many more muscles. You can also use exercise ball as your chair and it will make you feel more energetic as it will keep you in motion and thus avoid tiredness which occurs while sitting in one position for a prolonged time. It has also been found that using an exercise ball as your chair can help in improving your circulation as it helps in keeping the blood flowing to all parts of the body. This ball is also beneficial for simple stretching and relaxing and can be effectively used in yoga.
Before you buy a ball, make sure it’s the right size for your height. To test it, sit on the ball and make sure your hips are level or just slightly higher than the knees. Use these beneficial exercise balls and keep yourself fit and healthy.
