Eat Onions to Treat Blood Pressure

If you are suffering from the problem of high blood pressure, then you should start consuming onions. Though peeling of onions can make you cry, consuming them can prevent you from the problem of high blood pressure and can thus help in bringing back the lost smile on your face. This is because onions contain a natural compound, quercetin, which is an antioxidant and is extremely beneficial for patients with hypertension. Onion is widely used around the world as a food product and has also been used for medicinal applications. High blood pressure has been a leading cause of deaths in the present time due to its connection with cardiovascular diseases. If the simple activity of eating onions can help a person to live longer and healthier, one can definitely endure few tears for a dose of lifetime happiness.
