November 12, 2008

Do you often get bored with the monotonous daily life? Then here are some simple and practical ways where you can indulge your friends and family members and have fun with them. Use them to get to know your friends better and others to involve elderly relatives at a family gathering.

Why don’t you try out parlour games? Charades is the most obvious example of a game that anyone can play. You can also check out some other traditional games on the internet and put together a themed an evening. Parlour games are great ways to pass time pleasurably with shy or elderly relatives.

Did you ever think of planning a sports event like the one that you used to have in your school days? Believe it, it can be full of fun and thrill. So set some sporting challenges that doesn’t embarrass anyone and which you all can enjoy without feeling awkward.
Award prizes for the best and most amusing entrant. Try to make sure that every participant wins something or the other, as this will keep them on a motivated note.

Arrange some dinner parties with your family members and friends. Dress up formally for that dinner party. Share the preparation and ask each couple to being a different course for the meal. Believe me; it can be really interesting and amusing.

Have dance nights at your place itself. Many people can dance but have you ever thought of something new. There are lots of styles of dance you can learn. It’s good to take a partner but even more fun if a group of you go. Some places have dance nights where you can learn the steps for free. Believe me, it can be a really thrilling and fun affair for all those who get involved.
