Different Ways to Get Rid of Unwanted Hair

September 1, 2008

Using waxing for hair removal
Waxing is the most common method of hair removal. You will be surprised to know that it is the most long –lasting method of removing body hair and the areas remain fuzz-free for 2-3 weeks at stretch. It is a pain free method of removing body hair. It also helps in regressing hair growth. But make sure to apply lots of moisturizer after your waxing session. Also, when in shower, scrub your legs gently with a pumice stone after applying soap to combat ingrowths. If you have sensitive skin, apply ice or lacto-calamine on the axed area for relief.

Using razors for hair removal
If you are looking for a painless and a quick way to get hair removed, then go for a razor option. Do you that market is flooded with different types of razors. Some are disposal and some are long lasting, especially designed for women’s use. But there’s a loop side to it too- the hair grows back within few days. The easiest and effective way of using the razor is – first of all before shaving, make sure your skin is wet. Allow your skin and hair to absorb the water for at least three minutes. This will make the body hair to swell so that they can be easily removed. Don’t forget to change your razor once a week and also use plenty of moisturizing cream before using the blade. For soothing the skin from a razor bun, use chamomile tea. Either put cold and damp tea bags on the affected area or use a cloth that is soaked in a cold chamomile tea for applying.

No matter whether you wax or shave, you‘ll definitely feel the irresistible and smooth silky hair-free skin for sure.
