Different types of lemon pickles
Hey people, here are some sumptuous lemon pickle recipes for you. Just check the different varieties of lemon pickle and try them in your kitchen cabinets!
Lemon rind pickle
Ingredients
500 gm lemon rind, 400 gm sugar, 40 gm salt, 15 gm ajwain, 15 gm jeera
Method
Boil the lemon rind.
Later transfer them in clean container.
Make a nice paste of salt, ajwain, jeera and pour it into the container.
Mix well.
Keep the container under the sun for 4 days.
Add sugar to it and mix again.
After 2 days, you can start eating the pickle.
Lemon and harad pickle
Ingredients
1 kg lemon, 50 gm harad, 50 gm black jeera, 75 gm white jeera, 75 gm daalchini, 75 gm javakhaar, 15 gm hing, some sonth, red chili, coriander powder and 200 salt
Method:
Wash lemon and harad with water.
Chop the each harad into 4 pieces.
Also chop each lemon into 4 parts in such a way that it remains attached from bottom.
Make a nice dry masala of all the ingredients together in blender and then pour it over the lemons.
Mix lemon and harad together with masala.
Keep the container under the sun for five days and mix well.
Savor the pickle.
Lemon pickle
Ingredients:
2 kg lemon, 400 gm salt, 150 gm turmeric, 10 gm hing, 50 gm mustard powder, 40 gm fenugreek powder, 300 gm mustard oil, red chili as per taste
Method:
Chop the lemon and de-seed them.
Make a paste of salt, hing, and turmeric powder together and add to the lemons. Keep them under the sun. Till all the lemons gets soft.
Also add the mustard powder, fenugreek powder and red chilly powder to the lemons.
Keep these pickles under the sun for 3 days. Add salt and mustard oil to it.
Your lemon pickle is ready.
