Different types of kachoris –have a look!
Bathua kachori
Ingredients:
500 gm flour, 1 tsp jeera, 1 tsp red chili powder, pinch of hing, 25 gm boiled bathua paste, 1 tsp coriander, 3 green chilies, salt and ghee
Method
Add salt and 1 tbsp of ghee to flour and prepare nice dough.
Make a nice paste of bathua and add all the seasonings in it with salt and mix well.
Prepare small rounds from dough and fill the above paste as filling.
Prepare small kachori rounds and fry them in oil in pan.
serve hot with chutney and tomato sauce.
Aloo kachori
Ingredients:
50 gm flour, 3 green chilies, coriander leaves, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 200 gm boiled and mashed potatoes, 25 gm ginger, 1 tsp anaar dana, 1 tsp red chili powder, salt and ghee
Method:
Add 100 gm ghee and salt to dough and keep it aside after covering it with wet towel.
Add salt and other seasonings to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
Prepare small prepare small rounds from dough and fill the above potato mixture as filling.
Prepare small kachori rounds and fry them in oil in pan.
Serve hot with chutney and tomato sauce.
Chana dal kachori
Ingredients:
500 gm Maida, 3 green chilies, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp jeera, 25 gm ginger, 50 gm curd, 250 gm chana dal, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp anaar dana, 4 cardamom, pinch of hing, salt and ghee
Method:
Add 50 gm ghee and salt to Maida and mix everything well.
Add curd to above maida mix and prepare nice dough.
Add all the seasonings in chana dal.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté hing in it. Add the above chana dal and sauté it well till it turns golden brown in color.
Prepare Maida rounds and add the above dal mixture as filling.
Prepare small kachori rounds and fry them in oil in pan.
Serve hot with chutney and tomato sauce.
