Different types of dosa recipes for you
Hey people, here are some sumptuous recipes of dosa. Try these different varieties of dosa preparing them in your kitchen cabinets. I am sure you all would love them!
Masala dosa
Ingredients
100 gm rice, 5 gm urad dal, tamarind, some coriander leaves, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 6 tbsp oil, salt to taste, some curry leaves
For filling
300 gm potatoes, 4 green chilies, salt, oil, 1/ 2 tsp mustard seeds, pinch of hing, 15 gm onions
Method
Soak rice and dal in water for 4-6 hours. Then prepare their paste in blender. Add salt and prepare its nice batter by adding water.
Heat oil on tawa and spread 1 tbsp of this batter on it.
Let the dosa gets cooked from both sides.
Place the filling of potatoes mixture in the centre and fold dosa.
For preparing the filling of potato mixture, boil potatoes, peel off and then chop them into small pieces. Sauté the sliced onions in pan with mustard seeds and hing.
Add green chilies, turmeric and potatoes. Mix everything well. Also add tamarind pulp along with green coriander leaves.
Serve hot.
Soyabean dosa
Ingredients
500 gm rice, 75 gm soyabean dal, 4 green chilies, oil for frying, salt to taste, 75 gm urad dal, some coriander leaves, 1 tsp red chili powder
Method
Soak the soyabean dal, urad dal and rice for whole night in water.
Later make nice paste of all three above ingredients in blender separately.
Now mix all the three pastes. Add chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, salt, red chili powder in the paste and mix well.
Heat oil on tawa. Spread the 1 tbsp of above paste or batter on tawa and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Cover the lid.
Serve hot with chutneys.
