Different Types Of Chilla

Hey people, here are some mouth-watering chilla recipes for you all. Just read them and try in your kitchen cabinets.

Moong dal chilla

Ingredients:

250 gm moong dal paste, 25 gm chopped ginger, ½ tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 4 chopped green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, ½ tsp coriander powder, oil for frying

Method:

pour the dal paste in a bowl and beat them well with hands.

Add all the seasonings in it. Keep the dal batter in liquid consistency.

Heat oil on tawa. Pour 1 tbsp of the above batter on it and make a nice pancake on it.

Cook it from both the sides. Fry till they turn golden in color.

Serve hot with mint chutney and tomato sauce.

Besan chilla

Ingredients:

250 gm besan, 50 gm grated potatoes, coriander leaves, 1 tsp anaar dana,  pinch of hing, oil for frying, ½ tsp ajwain,  3 green chilies, 1 tsp dry coriander, 1 tsp garam masala, salt

Method:

Add salt to besan and beat it nicely using water. Prepare nice batter of besan.

Add ajwain and other seasonings to it and mix well.

Heat oil on a tawa and pour a tbsp of besan batter on it. Prepare a pancake.

Fry from both sides till they turn crispy and brown.

Serve hot with chutney.

Sooji ke meethe chille

Ingredients:

250 gm sooji, 4 tsp cardamom powder, some kesar, 100 gm sugar, 4 cloves, oil for frying

Method:

Add sugar to sooji and soak them in water for half an hour.

When sugar gets dissolved and sooji gets puffy, blend it well using hands.

Add cardamom powder and clove to it. Blend again.

Heat oil on tawa and pour 1 tbsp of above batter and spread over tawa to prepare pancake.

Serve hot with chutney.
