Computer Vision Syndrome

When you sit in front of computer for long hours, your eyes get tired, red and strained. These are some common symptoms of Computer Vision Syndrome.
Additionally, other symptoms include frequent headaches caused by strained eyes, blurred vision, and light sensitivity amongst others. Usually, it has been found that people with Computer Vision Syndrome complain of one sided headaches and can also display a symptom of double vision.
When a person sits in front of the computer for a long time, there is a problem of posture and the person often complains of back and neck pain. This is another common symptom associated with Computer Vision Syndrome.
There is no denying the fact that these days almost all jobs require a person to spend hours in front of computers. However, there are certain preventive measures which can protect you from Computer Vision Syndrome and other computer related problems.
There are specific computer glasses available which can be used in place of your regular eye glasses. In addition, take frequent breaks to avoid straining your eyes and stressing your neck and back.
Along with the above steps, you must also ensure that there is proper lighting near your workplace so that you are not overstraining your eyes. Follow the given simple steps to prevent the problem of Computer Vision Syndrome.
