When we apply makeup, the most common thing that is used is a foundation. However, there are certain ways of applying a foundation and one should be aware of them so as to avoid mistakes.
Find a proper shade of foundation which blends with your face color to have a natural color. Your makeup should not look over done. Thus, it is always advisable to first check the foundation by applying it on your palm first and then if the color blends well with your skin color, then you should purchase that foundation.
Apply the foundation properly so that your face does not give a patchy appearance. Also, a common mistake most women make is of applying foundation only on their face and not on their neck.
This makes your face and neck have a different look. Thus, you should always apply foundation on your face and also on your neck to have a natural look.
Many people make the mistake of applying moisturizers irrespective of their skin type. Moisturizers need to be bought according to specific skin types. For example, if you have an oily skin, then you should go in for an oil-free moisturizer. Also, you should use an oil-free moisturizer before applying makeup.
Many women commit the mistake of applying excessive mascara and eye liner in the attempt of having a smoky and expressive look. However, to have a smoky look, you should use specific tips and not overdo your eye makeup. Also, if you are not an expert at using liquid eye liner, you should stick with an eye pencil.
Given above are common beauty mistakes made by women which should be prevented to have a perfect makeup.
