Causes of Frequent Urination
Many people who suffer have a frequent urge to urinate and there are many causes of it. This article will throw light on some common causes of frequent urination.
People who have high blood pressure and who are taking medications for it usually have a frequent urge to urinate. Diabetes is a medical problem which often leads to frequent urination. Also, people who suffer from the problem of urinary tract infection have a frequent urge to urinate.
Many people suffer have disrupted sleep patterns due to frequent urination at night. This in turn can be caused by many factors like enlargement of the prostrate, and by problems like chronic renal failure, cystitis, kidney stones, and sleeping disorders like sleep apnea amongst others.
High levels of calcium in the blood can also lead to the problem of frequent urination. If you drink excessive water, alcohol or caffeinated drinks at night before sleeping, then you might be troubled by a need to urinate at night.
It has been found that many women suffer from the problem of frequent urination. This in turn can be a result of various women related problems like ovarian cysts and even ovarian cancer. Transitory phases in a woman’s life like pregnancy and menopause also lead to the problem of frequent urination.
There are also many psychological factors that can lead to frequent urination in a person. For instance, the urge to urinate increases when one is tensed and stressed.
You must have noticed yourself going to the bathroom frequently when you have your exams or some important meetings or when you are generally tensed.
In addition, certain neurological problems like those which affect the nerves of the urinary bladder can also lead to excessive urination.
If you are facing the trouble of frequent urination, then you must understand the cause of it so as to treat it.
