Candle Therapy
Long being used to dispel the darkness from one’s life, candles can also aid in providing a therapeutic effect. Being a part of prayers for thousands of years, scientists have now discovered the magical healing powers of candles which heal by transforming energy into a higher spiritual one. Candle therapy can be used to unite the powers of mind, body and spirit. Color therapy, aromatherapy and even music therapy combined with the powers of candle therapy can enhance the overall strength and well being of a person.
Always try to charge your candle before lighting it. Sit in a quiet and peaceful place and use your will power, your thoughts and power of your spirit to charge your candle with an affirmative thought. Candle therapy works well in collaboration with color therapy and you should burn a candle based on the color you need. The rainbow colors have an amazing healing power when lit together. Perform meditation, by concentrating on the light of the candle for spiritual and transcendental experience. Candle therapy can also aid aromatherapy as you can burn a candle made from herbs and essential oils to manifest a positive action. Similarly, they are a great way to relax your mind along with helping you to unite with higher energies of the universe.
There are also massage oil candles which are essentially soy candles enhanced with natural oils and cosmetic ingredients to create a soothing massage for the skin. They moisturize, nourish and hydrate the skin. These can be effectively used for treating dry skin areas and are especially beneficial during winters.
Candle therapy is thus an important therapy which can enhance the overall health of a person. The spiritual aspect of candles and their enlightening light can aid in the physical, spiritual and emotional health of a person.
