Burning Feet
Do you feel a burning or a hot sensation in your feet? There are many causes of burning feet and this article will bring to light these causes and also some natural remedies for it.
Along with a burning feeling, burning feet can also cause mild to severe pain and even redness and inflammation of the area. Usually, it has been found that people face this trouble at night.
Here are some common causes associated with burning feet. Certain medical conditions like diabetes, hypothyroidism and arthritis can be a cause for burning feet.
Certain infections like Athlete’s feet are also one of the major causes of burning feet. However, in the case of Athlete’s foot, you’ll face discomfort and burning sensation only around the area that is affected by the fungal infection.
Burning feet has also been linked with some kind of nerve damage which in turn can be a result of some other underlying medical problem.
When your feet are overstrained and tired, they can lead to a burning sensation. Also, burning feet can be attributed to the kinds of shoes and socks one wears.
If you wear shoes that have no breathing space for a long time, then they can lead to burning feet. Cotton and wool socks are considered as hot socks and you should avoid them especially in hot and humid conditions as they can lead to the problem of burning feet.
After being aware of the various causes of burning feet, let’s look at some natural ways by which you can deal with it. You should allow your feet to breathe and don’t keep them trapped in shoes and socks for a long time.
Soaking feet in a bucket with ice-cold water can help. Also, visit a doctor and get your tests done to find out the exact cause behind the problem of burning feet.
