Brush up your makeup skills

October 21, 2008

Definitely getting the right makeup done is a necessity these days. But at the same time, it is equally important to ensure that the products you are using for your makeup are of good quality so that your skin does not get damage from their usage. Here are some easy ways to brush up your makeup skills, so read them out!

To ensure your eyes stay healthy and free from any kind of eye infection, make sure you check the expiry dates of your eye cosmetics before applying them. Remember to throw your mascara after three months, powder eye shadows after every nine to 18 months and cream eye shadow every six to 12 months. Also, sharpen your eyeliners often to keep them clean.

Women with deep-set eyes should make use of liquid eye liners than regular pencil eyeliners. This will prevent the cases of smudging in the crease of the lid. Liquid liner does not smudge as easily.

Whenever you go to market for buying foundation, always test the color on the inside of your wrist. This is because the skin of wrist is most unblemished and it will give you a good idea of how it will look on your face. Always mix drop of foundation with moisturizer to create a luminescent look for your skin. And make sure you apply foundation to your face after you have done your eye makeup. This helps you to fix any last- minute smudging from mascara or eyeliner under the eyes.

Always apply a lip-balm to your lips before stating your makeup routine.by the time you have done your eyes and rest of the face, your lips will be moisturized and ready for the matte lipstick.

Just don’t think longer, and get the right makeup by incorporating the above easy ways.
