Benefits of Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree oil is an effective oil for various range of ailments due to its ability to fight against all kinds of infectious organisms: Bacteria, fungi and viruses. It contains chemicals known as terpenoidswhich provide the oil with its medicinal properties. Thus, tea tree oil is effectively used as an antiseptic and anti-infective for bacterial infections, acne and fungal infections like athlete’s foot. Moreover, it can also be used for the treatment of insect bites, sunburn and other minor skin irritation.

Due to these properties, Tea Tree oil is often employed in the preparation of soaps, toothpastes, gargles, disinfectants and even deodorants.
Tea Tree oil’s benefits are not limited to skin care only. As a powerful anti-viral agent, this medicinal oil helps to fight many common ailments like flu, chicken pox, measles and others. In addition, it also helps to provide relief from other viral complaints like cold sores and warts. Tea Tree oil has been found effective for the treatment of ailments of the respiratory system like whooping cough, asthma, bronchitis, tuberculosis and others. It has also been found that the use of this oil can help the body to fight off all kinds of infections along with helping in the strengthening of the immune system. Different types of ailments can be treated by different properties of Tea Tree oil and thus, this medicinal oil helps a great deal in ensuring the health and well-being of one’s body and skin.
