Our feet are one of the most worn out portions of our body due to the extensive wear and tear that they go through. Thus, you need to take extra care of your feet so that they remain soft, nourished and healthy. Given below are some basics of foot care which will help you attain beautiful and healthy feet.

Did you know that footwear rules? When you go out shopping for footwear, most of you think about fashion and trend. More than fashion, it is the health of your feet which matters and that is very much dependent on the kind of footwear one wears. Your footwear should be of good quality, size and comfort. Never wear shoes which are too tight or even too loose. They should be of optimum size and with proper comfort level. Also wear proper socks which are changed regularly. Remember to wear dry socks and shoes as moisture in them can lead to various bacterial and fungal infections.

Maintain personal hygiene and follow a proper foot care regime. These include daily moisturizing of feet to keep them soft, supple and nourished. Extra acre should be taken during winters. It is a good idea to moisturize your feet during night and then wear socks on it to keep the moisture intact. It will help in getting rid of dryness. One usually neglects the beauty care of feet but that is essential not only for beauty but also for your feet’s health. Clip your nails once a week and it is not a bad idea to get a pedicure done. Follow basic tips of keeping your foot dry and clean as infections usually occur due to moisture. Powders and anti-deodorant sprays are available for keeping your feet fresh and healthy.
