My son is 6 months now, and he is cutting teeth. He started to get his first 2 bottom teeth when he was just 3 months old. He was pretty good during that time. Now, he is older and he has 2 more teeth coming in and he is so fussy, irritable, drooling everywhere, and most of all he is not smiling. My son, is a very, very happy baby. He smiles all the time. I have not seen may baby's like him when it comes to smiling. But, what I am trying to get at is, he is so uncomfortable with this stage of teething that he is running a fever. He has had a fever for like 4 or 5 days. The doctor says, it is because he is teething. I do believe that fevers are related to teething. I have experience this with all of my children.
