Children up to 16 years of age are usually affected by juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. This kind of arthritis can involve one or more than one joints and it can also lead to problems like fever and even rashes.

Children with this problem often suffer from repeated high fevers. It is believed to be caused by certain bacterial and viral infections and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis can also be a result of malfunctioning of the immune system, especially the over activity of it.

Along with persistent fever and frequent rashes, children suffering from arthritis also display symptoms like weight and appetite loss and inflammation in joints and also sometimes in eyes.

The child faces joint swellings and has difficulty with motor activities. Such children are found to be less active than their normal counterparts.

If you witness any of the symptoms in your child, you must get medical attention to help the child overcome and easily deal with the problem of arthritis.

Additionally, you must help your child in indulging in outdoor activities and most importantly, they should be treated as normal children. You must help your child develop a positive outlook towards life so that he is able to lead a happy and a successful life.
