Undoubtedly premature greying can be a menace and very embarrassing especially if you are young. Whether you blame your hair greying on the kind of lifestyle you lead on one hand, and your elders blame on the excessive use of chemicals, or inadequate use of hair oil on your hair, the fact is – damage cannot be undone. But surely there are ways to prevent the untimely greying of hair.

Climatic changes, hereditary factors and stress, tension are definitely some reasons for premature greying of hair. It also gets affected by factors like nutritional intake, lifestyle factors. Premature graying also happens when functional melanocytes, which give color to the hair and skin, are absent. Do you know that oily, dry and wiry hair become more prone to premature greying, so better you watch that?

Do you wash your hair everyday? Remember that frequent use of product that contains excessive chemicals makes your hair prone to greying. So better you buy a mild shampoo and a conditioner to keep the greys from taking over.

Do you often visit salon for coloring, straitening and blow drying your hair? Just say away from such chemical treatments as much as you can because they may lead to grey strands sticking out.

Even emotional stress like feeling insecure about your relationship or a stress related to your job can affect your hair growth badly.

Make sure you keep a strict watch on your diet too. Remember that imbalances related to diets within your body might show itself in a form of premature greying, so better you take care of what all you eating and what not. Even disorders of the thyroid gland, particularly hyper-thyroidism is associated with premature greying. So you check out!

If you do not wish to have a single stand of white, then make sure you live a stress- free life and care for your hair by applying oil twice a week.
