Depriving yourself with quality sleep
Lack of sound sleep not only makes you grumpy but also kills your brain cells too. It may stop your brain to introduce new cells. Even people with insufficient sleep suffer from concentration problems. Lack of sleep affects the brain region which is involved in forming memories. Such people also suffer from higher chances of stress hormone called as corticosterone. So, just judge out the adequate amount of sleep that can work best for your body and brain.

How drinking too much water can affect your brain
If you think that only dehydration is bad for you, then remember that excess of water is no good either. When the ratio of water to sodium in your nervous system escalates, your brain swells and brain cells die in the process. Brain swelling can be really dangerous and disastrous. Excess of water hampers your membrane functions and brain cells. So, moderation should be a mantra, don’t drink gallons of water or overdo either by cutting salt in the diet.

How Inhaling fumes can affect your brain
Depending upon the type and severity of the air pollution you are exposed to, you may potentially lose lot of your brain tissues. Exposure to air pollution causes inflammation in the respiratory tract, which let tiny airborne particles and metals to enter the central nervous system and brain, Thus damaging and causing DNA changes in the brain cells.
