August 25, 2008

Undoubtedly everyone of us have their own set of excuses for heavy drinking habit. Wondering what’s yours? Just read out the some common excuses plus the ways to cut them.

If you think that drinking gives you the confidence for attending scary parties then think again. Trust me its easy to get into –opening a bottle ‘to get you in mood,’ then carry on, for maintaining false confidence in yourself. Try not to get into the habit of heavy drinking to fight against the social inhibitions, just build up your self esteem through various self help books and therapies.

Do you often drink due to peer pressure? Do you find it hard to say no to your friends and colleagues when it comes to drinking? Just because you are afraid of called up as boring personality indulge yourself into heavy drinking. If you find it hard to turn down booze, you can always say that you are medication or have to drive later.

Drinking just for fun purpose can be really dangerous. So better keep a note on your drinking in get-togethers otherwise you won’t even realize how much you have taken up without even knowing by how and why. Trust me this habit can leave you ill in a long run so maintain a safe limit.

If you really think that drinking can escape you from unhappy moments, bad relationships, and money troubles or work related stress, then mind it then it’s just a temporary solution but not a remedy. Relying on alcohol to cope up various life situations never works in your favor. So it would be better to face the problem to work it out. To get relief from stress, indulge in meditation ad relaxation techniques like yoga and try to maintain a healthy and good social lifestyle with your family and peers
