You might be health conscious and taking adequate precautions; but there are certain things which we do without thinking twice as we don’t suspect them to be harmful. Given below are such 5 surprising things which might pose as serious health dangers.

You don’t smoke but still you are being affected by smoker’s problems. Surprised and shocked!!! While it is true that smoking can be harmful for health, equally dangerous is passive smoking. Thus, if your hubby is a chain smoker, then you are equally susceptible to various health hazards. The smoke which you unknowingly inhale has numerous harmful chemicals in it which can put you at risk for lung cancer and various heart related disorders.

You might be heavily packed with loads of workload on your head. Sleeping for few hours might have made you comfortable thereby making you believe that your body has got accustomed to your new needs. However, if you skip due hours of sleep for frequent days, then you are putting your body in a condition of constant fatigue and stress thereby affecting overall health over a period of time.

Trying to be a self made doctor is not a good idea. You might take painkillers when having headaches or any other problem without the consultation of doctor. You might get relief but there are certain medicines which can cause serious side-effects if used inappropriately.

Time is something which we all think is quite less and always running. In the hustle and bustle of life, we often tend to save time by having our breakfasts in the car or when in the move. Well, you’ll probably ask that what the harm is since at least you are having your meals. However, it has been found that eating when on move can be harmful as it can turn into emotional eating. When stuck in traffic, you would tend to eat more and thus, the nutritional and health value of a food gets sacrificed if one does not devote proper time to meals.

Last but not the least, is the health danger which is posed by supposedly healthy “health drinks”. Many of these drinks can be harmful in the long run of life as they provide with simultaneous highs and lows thereby affecting the overall health of a person.
