That influence has been on everything we do, everything we believe, everything we eat and everything we wear. Race for the so called ‘western culture’ has reached its peak in the northern India. But that’s just one side of the coin.
The other side of the coin no one bothers to see, which says the Indian influence on the western countries. You don’t believe this one? Ever try seeing a foreigner female in Indian salwar suits and you will get to believe the other side of the coin.
In India, salwar suits are said to be Punjabi dress and is said to be most common in Punjab only, but that’s not true. It is as common in the other regions of India as well. Salwar suits happen to be as popular as sari in India.

It’s modernized by keeping the kameez sleeveless, having appealing neck lines for the kameez, using a stylish fabric as well.
