Whereas, Baadua Pani Gadhua is another simple ceremony in which, the bride is informed by her female friend and sisters with enthusiasm that the “Brajatri” has arrived. This is a clear indication to her to start ceremonial bathing of the bride and get her ready for wedding rituals.
Haatha Ghanti
In this ritual the groom and the bride take seven circlets around the sacred fire. This is done as the Vedic mantras are being recited by a Hindu purohit/priest
Griha pravesh ceremony
The newly wed bride is welcomed by her in-laws.
She is asked to enter the new home by pushing a pot full of rice towards inside the house. Her mother-in-law performs aarti for her bride.
Astha mangala ritual
